Arriving Soon - Baby Tag

Hi Waltzingmouse fans!   Julia here today sharing a sweet little baby girl tag, that worked up quick as a whistle once I decided on the colors of ink I wanted to use!
The stamps are from three WMS baby sets -  the shoe is from Vintage Baby Shower, the Arriving Soon is from the Little Darlings Images set and the larger sentiment is from Little Darling Sentiments.  I used the Stitched Tag dies for the tags and the shoe die is from the Vintage Baby Shower Dies set.   By simply changing the inks to a shade of blue - this would be perfect for a new baby boy as well!

I sponged all the edges with pink ink and then popped the smaller tag and the shoe up on foam dots. I looped gray and pink twine through the tag holes and added 3 pink sequins to finish it off!

Apple Blossom

Hello!  Jeanne here today!  I keep looking out the window for the first signs of Spring. Last week I saw ROBINS!  They are a good indicator that Spring is on it's way.   My folks and I have a competition every year for who will see the first Robin.  It's always good to have a witness too because I don't think they believed me!  They are really early this year!   I'm not about to argue with them.  If they say it's time for Spring, then I say BRING IT!
We have lots of ornamental pear and crab apple trees lining the streets in our neighborhood.  It's really quite a site to behold when they are in bloom and the streets are covered with pink and white petals.
I love this intricate detailed apple blossom image called  Vintage Garden Apple Blossom Seeds.  This is a 3 x 4" stamp that is sold individually (not in a set).  It looks so fussy and elegant.
Stamping in fuchsia ink makes the image fun and whimsical, and adds lots of color without any extra work - no coloring here!!

I hope you have a great day and that Spring arrives quickly wherever you are!

For You tag - for a little boy!

Today I'm sharing a cute tag I made using one of my favorite WMS sets; Half Pint Heroes and stitched tag die set - I just LOVE coloring Claire's cute images. The Little star tag stopper is from Another wonderful WMS die set called Folding Tag die set. It is my son's 6th birthday in two weeks and I Think this will be perfect on one of his presents.

Have a great day everyone, hugs, Karin

A New Home

Hi Waltzingmouse fans!  Julia here hoping you are enjoying a nice fresh start in 2015!  Today I have a card to share for someone who has just moved into a new home.  I remember how excited I was when we purchased our first home and how happy I felt living in it and decorating it - and just having it be mine!
I used several Waltzingmouse stamps in creating this card - I stamped the border with blooms from Funky Flowers, the cottage is from A Cottage Home and the sentiment is from Gift Card It.  I stamped the border using two different blooms with two different colors, stamping them randomly.  Then I went back and stamped the centers, some in blue and some in brown for contrast.  The tag and sentiment strip are up on foam dots.  I made the bow by knotting a piece of twine around two pieces of ribbon and a piece of lace.  I glued it to the top of the tag.
Here's what I stamped on the inside of my card -  sentiment from Gift Card It and the flower centers from Funky Flowers.  Needing some new home cards for my stash -  I made 4 of them since I had all the supplies out (!) - for two I used blue sequins and for two I used pink sequins!
Here's the group - don't they look pretty all together?!  The cottage is stamped on a tag cut with Stitched Tags Die.
Hope everyone has a relaxing weekend and you find some time to stamp!
